Enfuce Becomes Finland’s Biggest Fintech Startup

Helsinki Fintech Farm has announced an update of its listing of the largest fintechs in Finland. Enfuce leads the field among startups with revenues in 2018 adding up to over 4 million euros.
ESPOO, FINLAND – Enfuce is currently the largest fintech startup in Finland with revenues in 2018 adding up to over 4 million euros, according to an announcement by Helsinki Fintech Farm, an independent financial technology hub and digital finance service company.
“We’re building the best services in payments and open banking, which include a diverse platform for credit and payment cards and fast-to-implement PSD2 compliant interface services,” says Denise Johansson, CEO and co-founder, Enfuce. “Enfuce has grown both in terms of revenue and number of employees and we have no plans to slow down. This result is a taste of what’s to come.”
Finland has a strong fintech ecosystem with more than 340 million euros invested and 1,100 million euros generated in revenue in 2018. Finland has roughly 160 fintech companies. The strongest areas in Finland are financial software, back-end technologies, financing and payments. According to the Helsinki Fintech Farm website, “Finnish fintech has its roots in financial software and back-end technologies. The most significant growth in recent years has been in the fields of payments and financing.”
