Leading Bank in Uzbekistan Builds a Full-fledged Payment Processing Center on WAY4

Uzpromstroybank, one of the largest banks in Uzbekistan, is partnering with OpenWay to modernize its IT infrastructure.

Uzpromstroybank is implementing OpenWay solutions to invigorate its existing card business and to develop new products.  This project significantly improves customer service, cuts operational costs and helps the bank reach out towards new business opportunities.

OpenWay and Uzpromstroybank are modernizing the bank’s in-house IT infrastructure for issuing and acquiring plastic cards (Mastercard, Visa, UnionPay International, JCB) and deferred debit cards, including virtual ones. The project will also update the IT infrastructure behind the bank’s 3D Secure e-commerce services and contactless payments.

"Partnership with OpenWay allows us to increase the reliability, security, speed and performance of the IT platform that processes the bank’s plastic cards. In doing so, the bank can expand the range of services offered to customers at any time and in any place," said Bakhram Sultanov, Director of the department for retail service development at Uzpromstroybank.
