consulting company, national French bank, and telecom operator in a very competitive market.

What do you feel about the disruptions in the payment industry? What recent event / innovation inspired or frightened you?
Disruptions will probably results in a very fragmented landscape with major usage differences within the
market: some customers will leverage the latest functionalities of their mobile applications, some other
will remain loyal to their plastic payment card, whilst other will still be using cash and have only one
single bank. One the challenge will be to meet the needs of these different groups.
When choosing a business model, what characteristics do you expect are the most important?
Sustainability, win/win for all parties, relevance of what is delivered to the end user,
flexibility/possibility to adapt if one the key variable change in the future.
How do you envision the role of banking and processing companies in 5 years?
In a world that is more and more uncertain with new companies, services, and players emerging;
traditional banking & processing will be expected to bring stability and trust.
What skills do you feel are must-have for a decision-maker today and in the future in the banking industry?
Long term strategic thinking, integrity, resilience, ability to think from an end customer perspective
whilst designing products/services.
