OpenWay Gets the Highest Possible Rating from Leading Analyst Firm

OpenWay, the global vendor of the WAY4 payment processing software, is rated as strong positive by Gartner, the world leader in IT research and consulting. 13 vendors were evaluated for the 2009 report “MarketScope for Multiregional Card Management Software”. OpenWay received the highest possible rating of Strong Positive. According to Gartner’s scale, “strong positive” means that potential customers may “consider this vendor a strong choice for strategic investments”.

“Banks, processors and telcos anticipate customer-centric payment solutions”, - comments Wim Pardon, Managing Director of OpenWay Belgium. “A good example is WAY4 Customer Profile, highlighted by Gartner. It manages ATMs, kiosks, Internet, mobile and other interactive client-oriented self-service channels. Personalised services improve customer payment experience, and empower targeted sales and marketing campaigns”.

To be included in the Gartner’s report “MarketScope for Multiregional Card Management Software”, a vendor had to have at least 30 production customers in 2 or more main world regions. The software had to support major card programs, account types, issuing and acquiring functionalities. Gartner evaluated vendors based on geographic and offering strategy, product quality, customer experience, innovation and other criteria. Customers were interviewed by Gartner as part of the Gartner research methodology.
