I have 28+ years of experience in IT with main focus on the banking sector. Organizations that I worked for include National Bank of Oman, State Bank of Travancore and Milma.
Having joined National Bank of Oman in 1997, today I am the Head of customer centric systems division. Think customer first is my philosophy when it comes to delivering systems. Today's Technology and tomorrow's expectations are only means for offering best in class customer centric solutions.
My academic achievements include M.Tech in Computer Applications from Indian School of Mines, India and Master of Science in Statistics from Aligarh Muslim University, India. Additionally, I've completed a number of professional certifications, such as:
• PMP from Project Management Institute (I remain the Institute's active member)
• CRISC, Risk & Information Systems Control
• CGEIT, Certified in the Governacce of Enterprise IT
• CISM, Certified Information Systems Manager
• CISA, Certified Information Systems Auditor
Also, I am a member of ISACA - Information Security and Audit Control Association. I've held various positions on the ISACA Muscat Chapter board, and my current position is the Vice-President.

Technology is advancing at a faster pace than many organizations. Transformation to catch up with technology is a challenge for several organizations. What we experience today is something that we didn't even hear a few years back. At this pace, predicting future and aligning systems is a BIG challenge for technology leaders.
Banking scenario is changing the world over, and no Bank can shy away from embracing the new developments. Systems are becoming smarter to understand the customer and respond more intelligently. The payment industry is no more just for cash withdrawals and deposits. Revolutionary changes in the payment industry is opening up new business lines for Banks and more convenience for customers.
