Introduction
From the outlet, WAY4 was designed for multi-institution processing that considered the requirements of multi-branch banks, MSP/TPP and other processors. Most of WAY4 objects are defined within the frame of a financial institution (bank, bank branch), including, but not limited to products, currency exchange rates, customer data, financial transaction data, General Ledger, interchange routing rules, and internal clearing rules. For each financial institution, its name and bank identifier (BIC) are defined together with global posting parameters, such as country, local currency, or default interest calculation algorithm.
